A bakery in Waltham's "restaurant row" is shutting down for good in a couple of months.
According to a source, Alba Mediterranean Market & Bakery on Moody Street is closing on March 15, with a Facebook post from The Waltham Channel saying that it will be shuttering when its lease expires. The post also mentions that the brother-and-sister owners Kristina Zeqo and Stavros Kondo are shutting the place because they "just couldn't make the business work," though no other specific details were given.
Alba Mediterranean Market & Bakery first opened in 2015, offering such items as baklava, kataifi, galaktoboureko, feta cheese, olive oils, honeys, Greek yogurts, tea, coffee, custom-made cakes, and more.
The address for Alba Mediterranean Market & Bakery is 248 Moody Street, Waltham, MA, 02453. Its website can be found at https://ift.tt/2Nf6nPm
