Shawarma Club to Open in Weymouth

A South Shore eatery that focuses on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fare is expanding to a second location.

According to its website, Shawarma Club is opening in Weymouth, with the address indicating that it could be taking over the former Purple Eggplant space on Washington Street. Once it opens, the new spot will join another Shawarma Club which is located within the food court of the South Shore Plaza in Braintree, and based on the menu of that outlet, the Weymouth location could be offering such items as chicken and beef shawarma, lamb kebabs, moussaka, pastichio, hummus, baba ganoush, falafel, and more.

If all goes as planned, Shawarma Club may be opening in Weymouth in November.
