A fast-casual restaurant in downtown Boston has called it a day, though the business is not completely shutting down.
According to several sources, (including @NikiBlaker, who sent a tweet about it), Piperi Mediterranean Grill on Beacon Street is shuttered, with a note on its website confirming the closure, saying that "We have closed the 1 Beacon Street restaurant. We will miss all of our friends." The note does mention something else that we have heard, that its catering operation will continue (the website includes a link to the catering menu).
Piperi first opened in the latter part of 2012, offering flatbread sandwiches and rice plates with a variety of meat and vegetarian options, toppings, and sauces, along with a few small plates/sides.
