Panang Kalkandu Rava Kesari is a healthy option of making regular semolina kesari with Palm Sugar. This is a quick dish for prasadam. Since the sugar imparts brown colour, you can skip adding any food colour.
For the Navratri Day 6, Nava Durga is Katyayani (Jupiter). So the food can be Honey, Kesari, Kadale. Kadale (Chickpea) represents Brihaspati (Jupiter). I decided to make Kesari and Kadale.

Since I was planning for making some neivedyam with yellow colour, I had a tough time deciding on what to do. I thought I had yellow food colour and wanted to use it, however, I dropped the idea when I thought about using palm sugar. Everybody loved this Kesari and is surely something I will be making again!
