A brand new Mexican taqueria is on its way to Boston's South End, and it will reside within a relatively new hotel.
According to an article from Boston Magazine, Cosmica Mexican Eatery & Bar will be opening inside the Revolution Hotel on Berkeley Street, with the dining spot focusing on "inventive Mexican street food" and being run by the team behind the Beehive in the South End and Beat Brew Hall in Cambridge's Harvard Square. The menu will include such items as chorizo-queso jalapeno poppers with chipotle crema, tamale Colorado with red chili-braised pork and charred verde, cochinita pibil, or braised pork in a banana leaf, and duck carnitas tacos with mole verde, while the drinks program will feature "vacation cocktails" such as sangrias and "mezgaritas."
If all goes as planned, Cosmica Mexican Eatery & Bar will open in November.
The address for Cosmica Mexican Eatery & Bar (and the Revolution Hotel) is 40 Berkeley Street, Boston, MA, 02116.
