Kuttu Ka Halwa is yet another Vrat special dishes made during Navratri. This is a brown coloured flour and is a sticky halwa.
Kuttu Ka Atta is Buckwheat flour, while this is not related to wheat family, it is a whole grain and very healthy. This is popularly used in different dishes during the fasting season in north. I bought the flours for some other theme and I had some leftover.
I have been waiting for the right time for these recipes and this theme BM#104 on Sweets and Snacks seem to be the apt time. This again like the Singahere Halwa, turned out brownish and quite sticky.
Infact I kept adding milk and everything got absorbed. Since it had the right amount of sugar and ghee, it surely ends up being a good sweet to enjoy.
For the Halwa Series in this space as part of the BM#104, Sweets and Snacks I have Vrat special halwa made with Buckwheat flour. Check out what traditional sweet I have on Spice your Life!
