An growing local group of bakeries and cafes that recently announced plans for a massive new facility in South Boston apparently has even more plans in the works, including three new outlets in the Boston area.
According to an article in Boston Magazine, Tzurit Or of Tatte is looking to open new locations in Brookline, Cambridge, and Charlestown, with the Brookline shop being in Coolidge Corner and the Cambridge and Charlestown outlets being in as-of-yet undisclosed locations. This announcement comes on the heels of news that Or will be opening a 30,000-square-foot production space that will also include a test kitchen and cafe in the former Cole Hersee building on Old Colony Avenue in Southie. (Locations of Tatte are also coming to both the Berklee area of the Back Bay/Fenway and the South End, with the former planning to open next week.)
