A new Korean restaurant has come to Allston, opening in the space where a Southern-style seafood spot had been until recently closing.
According to an article in Eater Boston, Kim's Tofu is now open on Brighton Avenue, taking over the former Loui Loui/Cap't Loui spot which had once been home to Bravo Pizza as well. The post mentions that the new eatery features house-made tofu that is used in Korean tofu stew, while the menu also includes such items as spicy pork, seafood pancakes, rice, and more.
It appears that locations of Loui Loui/Cap't Loui in Stoneham and Braintree remain in operation, and the restaurants seem to go by both names, though they were originally called Loui Loui.
The address for Kim's Tofu is 160 Brighton Avenue, Allston, MA, 02134.
