A national restaurant chain continues to disappear from the Boston-area landscape, with its latest closing being an outlet north of the city.
According to a source, Applebee's in Danvers is no longer in operation, with a check on the locations page for the chain confirming this, as the restaurant has been removed from the page. The closing of the Danvers location means that just four outlets remain inside or along Route 128, including ones in South Bay, Quincy, Saugus, and Woburn. (Locations that have closed over the years include locations in Boston's Back Bay, Braintree, Brighton, Dedham, Malden, and Newton.)
The address for the now-closed location of Applebee's in Danvers was 50 Independence Way, Danvers, MA, 01923. The website for the chain can be found at https://ift.tt/2CxKVxX
