A new wine bar that's apparently the first of its kind in the region comes to the South Shore this week.
According to an article from Wicked Local, Uva Wine Bar opens in Plymouth on Tuesday, June 11, with the address indicating that it is moving into a space on Main Street in the heart of the downtown area. The post says that the new spot is "the South Shore's first and only self-serve wine bar," offering 48 different wines served by way of self-pour dispensers and using smart card technology to keep track of purchases, with three options for pours being available--1.5 oz., 3 oz., or 6 oz. Uva Wine Bar will also offer some food options including customizable charcuterie and cheese boards along with a few snacks and desserts.
Wicked Local says that Uva's self-serve feature via use of smart cards is the only one of its kind in New England when it comes to wine bars.
The address for this new wine bar in Plymouth is: Uva Wine Bar, 46 Main Street, Plymouth, MA, 02360. The website for the place can be found at http://bit.ly/2WslK8X
