The Lower Depths in Boston's Kenmore Square Closes for Good Tonight

A pub and beer bar that is popular with both Red Sox fans and college students is shutting down.

According to a source, The Lower Depths in the Kenmore Square section of Boston closes at the end of business hours tonight, with a Facebook post from the Commonwealth Avenue spot saying "And that's a wrap. We're moving on to some new adventures as of July 1st. Cheers to 15 amazing years and all of our awesome regulars!" It is not yet known what might happen to the space, so stay tuned for updates as they come in.

The Lower Depths has been known as a place to go for hot dogs, tater tots, and tacos, along with an extensive list of regional, national, and international beers.
