It looks like a Chinese restaurant in Somerville has said farewell.
According to a source, Red House in Union Square is closed, with the Yelp page for the place seeming to confirm this while a call placed to the restaurant indicates that its phone has been disconnected. It is not known exactly when the dining spot closed, nor has a reason been given for its closure; as soon as we find out more information, we will post an update here.
Red House was known in part for being a spot for takeout, with its menu including mostly Chinese-American fare such as chicken fingers, spare ribs, crab rangoon, teriyaki beef, egg drop soup, egg rolls, pork fried rice, chow mein, egg foo young, lo mein, and chop suey.
The address for this now-closed Chinese restaurant in Somerville was: Red House, 24 Union Square, Somerville, MA, 02143.
