Pazza On Porter to Open in Former Craft Table and Bar Space in East Boston

A couple of months ago, it was reported that an East Boston restaurant and bar had closed and that a new spot would be moving into its space. Now we have a name for the upcoming spot along with who may be behind it.

According to a tweet from @pietrob10, Pazza On Porter is planning in the old Craft Table & Bar space on Porter Street, with a page on the opengovus.com site showing that--as mentioned earlier--Boston Amici Group is opening the place. An OpenCorporates page shows that the two people behind Boston Amici Group are Raffaele Scalzi (who is presumably the same Raffaele Scalzi of Casa Mia Cucina Italiana in Marblehead) and Mivan Spencer (who is presumably the same Mivan Spencer of Caffe Dello Sport in the North End). Very little information has been given on when Pazza On Porter might open and what might be on its menu, so keep checking back for updates.

Craft Table & Bar closed in April after being in business for a bit more than a year; the space had also once been home to Ecco as well.
