Jonquil's Cafe and Bakery Opens in Boston's Back Bay

Last fall it was reported that a new dining spot was coming to the Back Bay of Boston and that it would be focusing at least in part on steamed items. Now we have learned that the place has opened its doors.

According to a press release, Jonquil's Cafe and Bakery is now open on Newbury Street, and as hinted at earlier, it will offer steamed dishes--in particular, steamed bowls--while also serving sandwiches, pastries and baked goods, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and juices. The release mentions that the dining spot will have seating along the sidewalk as well as on a lower level, with the place having the feel of a "quaint European sidewalk cafe."
