The person behind a bakery business whose products have been available at a popular Brookline spot will be opening her very own bakery in the local area.
According to an article from the Brookline Patch, Daisy Chow is going to be opening a brick-and-mortar shop at an as-of-yet undisclosed location, and she will be leaving Cutty's in Brookline Village where her Breadboard Bakery has operated as a pop-up for the past three years. Chow, who has also worked at Clear Flour Bread in Brookline for the past decade, will sell her goods at Cutty's for the next couple of weekends before focusing on the upcoming bakery, which could be opening this fall. (A tweet just posted mentions that Chow's shop will indeed be called Breadboard Bakery.)
The Breadboard Bakery pop-up has been known for such items as cinnamon rolls, croissants, "wacky" cakes, and kolaches, the last of which is a puff pastry that has similarities to both donuts and Danish and which can be either sweet or savory. (The Patch says that the new shop will also sell a variety of breads along with croissants, sandwiches, and coffee.)
