Chef Chow's House in Brookline's Coolidge Corner Has Apparently Closed

It looks like a longtime spot for Chinese food in one of the busiest sections of Brookline has shut down.

According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Chef Chow's House has closed, with another Facebook post seeming to confirm that the Harvard Street eatery is indeed no longer in business. The poster on the group page mentions that a new hot pot place may be moving into the space, though no specific information on the new restaurant has been given as of yet, so keep checking back for updates.

The poster on the Facebook group page says that Chef Chow's House has been in business for at least 35 years, offering Chinese-American fare such as chicken fingers, crab rangoon, spare ribs, moo shi pork, sweet and sour chicken, pepper steak, shrimp with broccoli, lo mein, chop suey, and more.

The address for the now-closed Chef Chow's House was 230 Harvard Street, Brookline MA, 02446.
