A local group of dining spots that went through a rough stretch a few years ago has opened a new location in Cambridge.
According to a source, Cosi is now open at CambridgeSide (formerly the CambridgeSide Galleria), with the website for the business confirming that the eatery is indeed up and running. The website indicates that the new location offers such options as soups, salads, sandwiches, flatbreads, coffee, and more, and it is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
In 2016, Cosi filed for bankruptcy and a few of its shops closed down, including ones in Cambridge's Kendall Square, Boston's Back Bay, and State Street in downtown Boston. Existing locations can be found on Federal Street, High Street, Milk Street, and South Station in the downtown area as well as the Seaport District, Logan Airport, and Charlestown, which is where the chain's headquarters are.
The website for Cosi is at http://bit.ly/2fg8UFw
