Red 8 to Open at Encore Boston in Everett

It looks like an upscale Chinese restaurant is on its way to the casino complex in Everett, and this would be a third location of a dining spot that has locations out west and overseas.

According to an article in Boston Magazine, Red 8 is opening in June at Encore Boston Harbor resort and casino, with the restaurant featuring Cantonese dishes along influences from such places as Hong Kong, Shanghai, Sichuan, Singapore, and Malaysia. The dining spot will be located on the south gaming floor of the casino, and it will be joining a number of other restaurants and bars at the complex, including Rare Steakhouse, two Italian restaurants called Sinatra and Fratelli, and an Asian-fusion spot with sushi.
