Migaku to Replace Yokohama Japanese Restaurant in Brookline Village

by Marc Hurwitz

A brand new Japanese restaurant is on its way to Brookline, and it will be replacing another Japanese eatery that closed last summer.

According to Patrick Maguire of Maguire Promotions & Hospitality Consulting, Migaku is opening in the former Yokohama space in Brookline Village, with a sign in the storefront of the Washington Street space saying that it will feature authentic Japanese noodles and rice bowls. It is not known exactly when Migaku might open, so stay tuned for updates.

Yokohama, which had been in business for nearly 20 years, offered sushi, bento box options, Japanese entrees, and more.

The address for Migaku will be 238 Washington Street, Brookline, MA, 02445.
