A new breakfast and lunch spot has come to the South Shore, and it has moved into the space where another breakfast and lunch spot had been until moving out and heading to a new location.
A check on the place over the weekend indicates that Skillet is now open in Weymouth in the old Mad Hatter Cafe space on Main Street, confirming what a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page had mentioned earlier. The new eatery does not appear to have a website as of yet, though it does have a Facebook page that mentioned late last month that the spot had indeed opened.
The Mad Hatter Cafe left its original home approximately a month ago and plans to reopen in the former Hajjar's space on Washington Street this week.
The address for Skillet is 119 Main Street, Weymouth, MA, 02188. Its Facebook page can be found at https://ift.tt/2JLrYfp
