What was once a local chain of seafood restaurants will officially disappear from the landscape next month.
According to a source, Naked Fish in Waltham is closing, with a Facebook post from The Waltham Channel confirming this, indicating that the Totten Pond Road eatery will shut down for good on December 22. The note says that one reason for its closure is the "changing restaurant business" and that other dining spots have shown interest in the space, though no names have been given as of yet.
At its peak, Naked Fish had a number of locations in and around the Greater Boston area, including in Billerica, Boston, Framingham, Hingham, Lynnfield, Quincy, Waltham, Watertown, and Westborough; the Waltham location has been in business for 19 years.
The address for the soon-to-close location of Naked Fish in Waltham is 455 Totten Pond Road, Waltham, MA, 02451.
