Alasandalu Bonda or Black Eyed Pea Potato Bonda is a delightful deep fried snack that can brighten any party. These small bombs are addictive and crowd pleasing.
Amma had recently made these for snacks and everybody loved it so much that we had to repeat it again in the evening. Black Eyed Peas are quite frequent at our place and we love making a tangy gravy or some kurma with it. However, during Navratri, we also make sundal with it and this was one of the dishes that came out because of it.
I believe this is one recipe that you can either make as a snack on its own or if you have excess sundal, you can recycle as this bonda. It is a fantastic choice. I am sure everybody will love this.
I miss writing long and lengthy posts, time seem so short offlate. Thoughts overflow and tend to burst out. Then again I just want to write this post and get over it! The thoughts are confusing maybe with months coming close to the year end, I do tend to lament more. This year has been so quick, I can’t even think about it.
Konda has starter her college and only a month and a half is gone, yet it feels like forever and so short the same time. The day starts early with packing for the kids’ lunch and then ours. So I can’t remember how the day flies!
Anyway these bondas that we made were really lip smacking and sure enough, it brightens any day! We are starting our BM#93, Week 4 where I am doing Kids Delight Mini dishes.
