It looks like a local brewer may be expanding to a second location, with this one apparently coming to the heart of Boston.
According to a source within the restaurant industry, Night Shift Brewing in Everett is looking to open a new facility somewhere downtown, with a Twitter post from @BrewboundFurn seeming to confirm this, showing this information in what appears to be part of a timeline displayed at last night's Nite Lite launch party at The Sinclair in Cambridge. The info says that the brewer has indeed signed a lease for a second brewery and taproom in downtown Boston, though no address or opening date has been given as of yet. (Stay tuned for more details as they come in.)
Night Shift debuted on Charlton Street in Everett in 2012, moving to its present location on Santilli Highway two years later. The brewer is known for such beers as Whirlpool, Santilli, and The 87 along with One Hop This Time, Morph, and the brand new Nite Lite, which makes its first appearance this week.
