A growing chain of European coffee places continues to expand into the Boston area, with a new location now open north of the city.
The Burlington Union is reporting that Caffe Nero has opened at the Burlington Mall in Burlington, with an earlier Daily Times Chronicle article indicating that the new shop is located within the first-floor concourse below the food court, joining such dining spots as Au Bon Pain, Besito, The Friendly Toast, and Legal Sea Food in that part of the mall. The new location of the London-based coffeehouse is one of a number of outlets now open in the region, though it is only the fourth to open between Route 128 and Route 495 (the others being in Wellesley, Reading, and Andover, while a fifth plans to open at some point in Concord as well).
