A decades-old breakfast and lunch spot west of Boston is getting ready to shut its doors.
According to a Concord Journal article, Country Kitchen on Sudbury Road in Concord is closing on December 15, as owner Trish Irons is retiring from the business. The post mentions that Irons is considering a few options, including having someone else take over the business, moving the eatery to a new location and having a new owner take it over while being a consultant, and giving some of her recipes to the nearby Crosby's Marketplace and also serving as a consultant, but nothing has been written in stone as of yet.
Country Kitchen first opened 36 years ago, offering such items as muffins, bagels, coffee, soups, salads, and sandwiches.
The address for Country Kitchen is 181 Sudbury Road, Concord, MA, 01742.br />
