Intermission Tavern in Boston's Theater District Is Up for Sale

It looks like a downtown Boston watering hole is on the market.

According to a listing on the LoopNet site, the Intermission Tavern on Tremont Street in the city's Theater District is up for sale, with the listing saying that "The 1,420 square foot building is currently occupied by the Intermission Tavern, but can be delivered vacant, allowing investors the opportunity to redevelop the Property on an immediate basis." The asking price for the property has not been disclosed.

The Intermission Tavern, which first opened in 2005, was a popular spot for theatergoers looking for bar food and drinks. Michael Connors, who was the owner of the bar, passed away in the summer of 2015.

The address for the Intermission Tavern is 228 Tremont Street, Boston, MA, 02116. Its website can be found at http://ift.tt/2hKmTcR
