300 Saratoga Cafe Opens in East Boston

A new Italian eatery has come to East Boston, and it replaces a cafe affiliated with a restaurant once featured on a popular Food Network show.

According to a source (via the East Boston Open Discussion Facebook group), 300 Saratoga Cafe is now open, moving into the space where Prima e Dopo had been until closing in the spring of 2015. Based on posts on the dining spot's Facebook page, 300 Saratoga features pizza, seafood, steak, chicken, veal, pasta dishes, burgers, espresso, cappuccino, and desserts, and it appears that the place may be offering beer and wine at some point as well.

The now-closed Prima e Dopo had been run by Rino's, which is located across the street and which gained national recognition after it was featured on Guy Fieri's show "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" in 2010.

The address for the new 300 Saratoga Cafe is 300 Saratoga Street, East Boston, MA, 02128. Its Facebook page can be found at http://ift.tt/2qIHTAo
