Ceiling Collapse at Building Housing Hen House, Liquor Land in Boston; Two Injured

A ceiling collapse at a building housing a restaurant and a liquor store has injured two people.

NBC Boston is reporting that the building on Massachusetts Avenue in Boston in which Hen House and Liquor Land reside is currently taped off after a ceiling collapse took place this morning, sending two people to Boston Medical Center with what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries. The building, which sits on the Roxbury/Dorchester line near Newmarket Square, is expected to go through a structural evaluation today, with city building inspectors indicating earlier that some of the building's cement apparently broke off and caved in the ceiling.

The Hen House and Liquor Land are located at 1033 Massachusetts Avenue.
