Vine Brook Tavern in Lexington Has Closed; Exact Status Unknown

An upscale suburban restaurant featuring New American fare has suddenly shut its doors, and it is not known if it will open again.

According to multiple sources, Vine Brook Tavern in Lexington Center is locked up and dark, with a picture sent to us last night indicating that a sign out front simply says "Closed. Thank you." Most sources say that this is a permanent closure, though this has not been confirmed as of yet--and a tweet from the Waltham Street dining spot from Thursday mentioned that live music and family pasta nights would be coming in April. As soon as we can confirm the exact status of Vine Brook Tavern, we will post an update here.

Vine Brook Tavern first opened its doors in November of 2012.

The address for Vine Brook Tavern is 20 Waltham Street, Lexington, MA, 02421. Its website is at http://ift.tt/10mkp77
