A new Asian restaurant is on its way to Brookline, and it looks like it will move into the space where another Asian eatery had been.
Eater Boston is reporting (via Wicked Local) that Chiharu Sushi & Noodle is planning to open on Boylston Street, with the address indicating that it would take over the former King Fung Garden II space. Wicked Local mentions that the 20-seat place will offer grab-and-go breakfast items while featuring sushi and noodle dishes for lunch and dinner. EB says that the owners are Qun Li, who comes from Haru in Boston's Back Bay and Mix-It in Cambridge, and Mei Pan, who was the owner of the now-closed May's Cafe in Allston.
If all goes as planned, Chiharu Sushi & Noodle could be opening sometime in April.
The address for this upcoming dining spot in Brookline is: Chiharu Sushi & Noodle, 370 Boylston Street (Route 9), Brookline, MA, 02445.
