Rail Stop 96 Restaurant & Bar to Open at Boston Landing in Brighton

This summer, we reported that a Gloucester-based hospitality company was opening a restaurant at the site of a new development in Brighton. Now we have learned that they are still opening a dining spot, but it now has a different name.

According to a job post within the bostonchefs.com site, Rail Stop 96 Restaurant & Bar is opening at Boston Landing, a new complex off Market Street by the Mass. Pike where the site of the New Balance world headquarters is. The description of the place is very similar to that of the proposed Seaport Grille that the Beauport Hospitality Group had been planning to open there, and a check on their site confirms that they are indeed behind Rail Stop 96 Restaurant & Bar. The job post mentions that it will still be an upscale casual spot that features contemporary New England cuisine, and that it will still have seating for 274, a bar, and an outdoor patio, while it plans to be open for lunch and dinner daily.

As mentioned earlier, Boston Landing is expected to have several other dining spots as well, including a pizza and bowling spot, a Greek eatery, a cafe, and a juice bar.
