Grub Might Be Coming to Boston's Mission Hill/Brigham Circle Neighborhood

A new dining spot appears to be coming to the Mission Hill/Brigham Circle section of Boston, and it looks like the person behind a highly-rated pizzeria may be behind it.

According to a licensing board page within the city of Boston website, a place tentatively called Grub is planning to open on Huntington Avenue, with the address indicating that it would move into the space where Kwik-E Pizza & Subs had been. The manager of the proposed eatery is given as Dermot Doyne, which is presumably the same Dermot Doyne who runs Penguin Pizza, a spot across the street that has received much praise over the years, including The Improper Bostonian awarding it best restaurant in Mission Hill while CBS Boston included it among its 2014 picks for best pizza and beer.

As soon as we find out more about Grub, we will post an update here.

The address for this proposed dining spot in the Mission Hill/Brigham Circle area is 738 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02115.
