A coffee spot in Cambridge that recently reopened after being shut down due to a fire will soon be opening a new shop in Boston.
A job post within the Craigslist site indicates that a "staple in Cambridge for 23 years" is "thrilled to be opening another location in Boston," with the post indicating that it will be at Kneeland Street and Surface Road where Chinatown and the Leather District meet. The post seems to refer to BeanTowne Coffee House, which has been in Cambridge's Kendall Square for that amount of time and which Eater Boston said would indeed be opening at that location (in the One Greenway development). EB mentioned at the time (in early August) that it planned to open sometime this fall and it looks like this may still be the case, as BeanTowne is currently hiring for the new shop.
The Cambridge location of BeanTowne Coffee House was one of four dining and drinking spots hit by a two-alarm fire in August of 2015, with the coffee shop, Belly Wine Bar, the Blue Room, and Flat Top Johnny's all reopening this year.
The address for this upcoming coffee spot in Boston is: BeanTowne Coffee House, 99 Kneeland Street, Boston, MA, 02111. The website for the original location in Cambridge--and a second one in Hampstead, NH--can be found at http://ift.tt/28NkZ7k
