Captain Fishbones in Quincy's Marina Bay Has Been Sold; New Restaurant May Replace It

A family-friendly steak and seafood restaurant that is known in part for its spectacular views of Boston Harbor has been sold, and it looks like another dining spot might be taking over the space.

According to posters on the Quincy Is Everything Facebook group page, Captain Fishbones at Marina Bay in Quincy is going to be closing, as it has been purchased by an unnamed buyer. A regular source of ours tells us that the purchaser apparently has a connection to Boston's North End and that the new restaurant may be an Italian eatery.

Captain Fishbones is a casual spot with a dining area and both an indoor and outdoor bar, the latter of which is situated along the boardwalk at Marina Bay. The restaurant has been in business for more than 15 years.

The address for Captain Fishbones is 332 Victory Road, Quincy, MA, 02171. Its website can be found at http://ift.tt/2cSuH5m
