A new restaurant is coming to an upcoming apartment building on the East Boston waterfront, and a well-known local chef and restaurateur will be behind it.
The Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog is reporting (via @SteveAdamsTweet) that Marc Orfaly is planning to open a new dining spot within the Eddy, a 16-story tower on New Street that should be opening sometime in September. An article in Boston Magazine mentions that the eatery (whose exact details had been "hush-hush" at the time of its writing) will likely have outdoor dining, though no other information has been given as of yet.
Marc Orfaly comes from such restaurants as Pigalle and The Beehive, and he will also be working with Jay Silva (formerly of Bambara in Cambridge) on the reconcepting of JW's in Winthrop, which Silva recently took over.
The address for the upcoming restaurant from Marc Orfaly (as well as the Eddy apartment building) is 10 New Street, East Boston, MA, 02128.
