Gordon's Fine Wines and Liquors May Take Over Wine Cellar Space in Boston's Downtown Crossing

It looks like a popular group of liquor stores located in the suburbs of Boston may be bringing a new one to the heart of the city.

According to a legal notice sent to us by a source, Gordon's Fine Wines and Liquors is looking to open in Downtown Crossing, taking over the site on Templa Place where the Wine Cellar is located. Little else is currently known about the proposed transfer of businesses other than the fact that the new shop is looking to be open until 11:00 PM.

Gordon's Fine Wines and Liquors, which says on its Twitter page that it is "the leading purveyor of fine wines, spirits and beer in our New England stores and online," has locations in Waltham, Watertown, and Newtonville.

The address for the Wine Cellar (and proposed location of Gordon's) is 39 Temple Place, Boston, MA, 02111.
