Ruth's Chris Steak House Eyeing 10 CityPoint in Waltham

A chain of upscale steakhouses with one location in the Boston area could be adding a second, though plans for it appear to be in the very early stages.

Eater Boston is reporting that Ruth's Chris Steak House might open at 10 CityPoint, which is an upcoming mixed-use complex in Waltham near Route 128/95 by the Totten Pond Road/Winter Street exit. The article says that this is by no means a done deal, as an employee at the chain's corporate office states the proposed dining spot is in "market study" and that "It's not a definite yes, it's not a definite no." If the new location of Ruth's Chris does end up opening in Waltham, it would join another location on School Street in downtown Boston, and it would also join at least two other upcoming restaurants at 10 CityPoint--Bonefish Grill and Osteria Posto.
